Capability Statement

Jennifer Silverstein is a certified executive coach specializing in leadership development, adult learning  and development, and team coaching and facilitation.  In 2015 she started BeWell Network, a leadership development coaching company.   She is the creator of The BeWell Method, an integrative coaching process for increasing self-awareness and activating new habit formation.  The BeWell Method has been used with clients working in higher education, health and human services, workforce development, and professional services.

Jennifer has worked for more than 25 years in various professional settings including corporate, non-profit, government, and entrepreneurial ventures.  Jennifer’s experience is preceded by a Master of Science in Adult Education from Southern Oregon University, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco, a post-graduate certificate in Transformational Leadership Development, and a Human Resource Management certificate from Sonoma State University.  Jennifer is a certified executive coach through the Center of Executive Coaching.  She is also an Emotional Intelligence practitioner certified to administer the MHS EQ.i 2.0 and EQ.i 360 assessments.  Jennifer has certifications in the Power of Awareness mindfulness from the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley and Leadership Embodiment L1 & L2, and Resilient Leadership. 

Jennifer is a member of the International Coaches Federation as an Accredited Certified Coach and a member of the Association of Talent Development, Council on Adult and Experiential Learning, and the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.  She is the past president of the Senior Advocacy Services Board of Directors where she has served for five years.

Anne Griswold is a coach, mentor, consultant, facilitator, designer, and adjunct faculty in the fields of organizational development, leadership and learning.  Anne has more than 25 years of experience in developing leaders at every level of organization and across multiple industries.  She has held many roles over the years being both an internal executive, a sole proprietor of her own consulting firm as well as an adjunct professor in a variety of universities.  Anne has served in many positions on volunteer boards over the years.

Anne has earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maine and an M.S. in Management Science/ Organizational Development from the Antioch New England Graduate School, and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership through the Graduate Institute.  Anne is a master facilitator certified in many assessment tools including MBTI, DiSC, Hogan, and specializes in Whole Brain Thinking/HBDI®.  Recent companies she has worked with include: Health Plan of San Joaquin, Subaru, Hertz, Nestle, Intel, PWC, EY, Vanguard and Varian Medical.

Jennifer brings extensive experience in Human Resources leadership, including ten+ years at Patagonia, where she contributed to the design of a unique corporate culture that continues to positively impact the world today. For over a decade Jennifer has run a leadership development firm guiding leaders at all levels, teams, and organizations in navigating the human side of business for greater effectiveness. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies and non-profits.  Jennifer is actively involved in her local community as a Board member serving the social sector in Santa Barbara County.

Jennifer is certified as a Master Somatic Coach from the Strozzi Institute. For a decade, she served as a teacher for the Strozzi Institute in Personal Mastery/Leadership teaching courses, such as Leadership in Action and the Young Women’s School of Embodied Leadership (SOEL).  She is certified as an Executive & Organizational Coach from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation. She has completed additional certifications through Coaches Rising (The Power of Embodied Transformation), the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley (Power of Awareness), and Case Western Reserve University (Change Management). She holds a B.A. from Antioch University.

Jennifer is co-creator of The Relating Game, Deeper Intimacy and More Meaningful Connections for Individuals and Couples (2009). She is co-author of A Princess and Her Garden, A Fable of Awakening and Arrival, Becoming the Queen of Yourself with Patricia R. Adson, Ph.D. (2012). This book won two Silver Nautilus Awards in 2012.
